Tithing Foundation is rooted in the principle of tithing: giving 10% of your time and resources to contribute meaningfully. That might look different for everyone and will change continuously, which is why our foundation allows you to choose your level of involvement by being an online resource and hub for volunteering.
My passion is connecting people and their purpose to leave behind a legacy to remember. This is a nonaffiliated religious organization, but many of the principles from this nonprofit come from examples of Jesus Christ, which was loving and serving others.
I was born in the PNW Portland, Oregon, and grew up in Florida. raised by a robust community: Jack & Jill, Delta Gems, Tee Loo Golf, Boys and Girls Clubs. My mother and now deceased father turned to community partners to help raise up a family of 6 and it would not have been possible without these amazing organizations. My mission is to connect as many families, people, and businesses to these types of organizations.
The Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank is committed to providing quality food, hygiene items, emergency supplies, and resource referrals to anyone in need in our service area. We have a special emphasis on healthy foods and work hard to get fresh, local produce into the homes of our customers.
Trail Youth was founded to bring together our communities to create a safe environment for local youth, teach them skills for the future and make great coffee. All proceeds from the sale of coffee are 'poured' back into the community to help ensure kids have a safe place to learn, communicate and grow.
Every person has a story to tell. Since 1971, Hopelink has served homeless and low-income families, children, seniors, and people with disabilities in King and Snohomish counties; providing stability and helping people gain the skills and knowledge they need to exit poverty for good.
By volunteering with Habitat SKKC, you can be a part of the change you want to see in your community. We offer several opportunities to build or repair homes with families, in addition to volunteer opportunities at our local Habitat Stores. You can even invite your friends and family to join us!
We lead community members in high quality service experiences in King County Parks with the goal of connection and engagement in the health of our parks. We lead an average of 10,000 volunteers a year performing restoration, park improvement, and building and maintaining trails.
Calling all pet lovers! Whether you are interested in volunteering your time at one of our facilities, including partner store locations throughout the county, or wish to foster or simply help out from the ease and comfort of your own home, there are countless ways to help make a difference!
At Emerald City Pet Rescue, we have high standards for our staff and volunteers alike. We are looking for volunteers who are willing to make a three-month commitment of at least two one-hour shifts per month, as this helps us maintain a consistent environment for our staff and animals.
